One Top, Three Looks

One Top, Three Looks

Happy 2019!! Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve. Have you guys started working on your new year resolutions yet? We spent our Christmas holiday in San Diego and Palm Springs this time. I really love sea animals, that's why I wanted to spend Christmas day at San Diego Sea World ๐Ÿฌ Will be writing a few blog posts on our San Diego trip soon! Today I'm here to give you some styling tips. Many of you might own a white top/crop top/mock neck top/ribbed top/bodysuit. I found that a white top can be a versatile item in our closet. Today I'm going to show you guys how I styled a simple white top in three different ways.

1. Day Look For Not So Cold Weather

I knew it's too hot in summer in San Diego, feels like Miami. But we didn't think we'll get the most pleasant weather during the winter. I brought a white crop top with me which I got from Nordstrom last year when they were having their anniversary sale. Since then I just wore it once or twice. So this time I packed it for the trip.

Since we planned to walk around the Old Town San Diego Market and State Historic Park, I wanted to wear something comfy. I wore this crop top (similarย here) with a faux leather burgundy skirt (here) which gives a very stylish look, and it fits well. I put on a beret (sameย here) which color matches with my skirt as well. And you guys know, a beret is a must-have for this season. To complete the look, I wore my pink bag (here) as a pop of color in tote style. And my suede Ugg boots (here) became my go-to shoes for this winter. It's very comfortable and comes in 6 different colors.

2. Look For After Sunset

After sunset, the weather became a bit of colder. At that time, a denim jacket can come in handy. I just put my denim jacket (here) over my crop top. My outfit still looks chic and is comfortable as well. And that completes my second look.

3. Night Look For Chilly Weather

In the evening, we were about to explore San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter (downtown) and have dinner. So I had to add some layers to my outfits. Black and white are one of my favorite combos. I wore my black and white printed skinny pants (here). I put on a double-breasted red peacoat (similar here, on sale now) over my crop top as an outer layer. I used the same bag in cross-body styleย ๐Ÿ˜Š
