MIAMI DAY 4: LITTLE HAVANA & BRICKELL

MIAMI DAY 4: LITTLE HAVANA & BRICKELL

On the 4th day of our Miami trip, our plan was to visit Miami's beautiful and vibrant neighborhood named Little Havana. This place is famous for their painted roosters, latin American art galleries, restaurants, etc. For the day, I wore a T-shirt with GOOD VIBES written in different colors which I paired with red shorts šŸ˜€

The Calle Ocho is the main strip of Little Havana. While strolling around this place, we saw some bright colorful painted roostersĀ and Calle Ocho Walk of Fame (in honor of famous Cubans) like Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA. I couldn't resist myself from taking a few shots with some of those roosters as they perfectly matched with my outfit from top to bottomĀ šŸ“šŸ˜‚Ā

It was so hot and we wanted to get something which could beat the summer heat. So we decided to try out ice cream fromĀ Azucar Ice Cream Company. They are famous for their homemade Cuban dessert.Ā

They have Miami Signature and seasonal flavors of ice cream and sorbet. We got one of their yummy flavored ice cream from the Miami Signature lineĀ šŸØ

After a lot of walking, we were super tired, so we took a Uber and headed to Brickell, an urban neighborhood of greater downtown and largest financial district in Miami. By the time we reached there, we were starving and went toĀ Pubbelly SushiĀ atĀ Brickell City Centre, a large shopping mall with restaurants and pretty cool galleries. I've heard a lot about their sushiĀ šŸ£ We tried their amazing sushi rolls and grilled lamb chops. I would recommend their lamb chops if you go there šŸ™‚

After visiting the Venetian Las Vegas, we were excited to see the Venetian Islands in Miami. So we took a Uber and went back to Miami Beach via Venetian Way which links Miami to Miami Beach and goes through the 6 Venetian Islands. On the ride we saw parrots and some beautiful houses and condos.

There is a waterfront park named Maurice Gibb Memorial Park at the end of Venetian Way in Miami Beach. We sat there for a while to see the sunset between the Miami skylineĀ šŸŒ‡Ā After the sunset we strolled around for a bit.

There is a good Thai restaurant namedĀ NaiYaRaĀ near the waterfront. I saw many youtubers recommend this place. So we had to give it a shot! We tried their naiyara roll, pad thai and the most delicious flanĀ šŸ˜‹Ā

Next day we drove from Miami to Key West. Stay tuned for my next postĀ šŸ’•
