A DAY IN VENTURA

A DAY IN VENTURA

On the second day of our LA trip, we started our day with a cup of coffee and went out. At first we wanted to spend our time at the nearest beach named San Buenaventura State Beach, which was only a 9 minute drive from our hotel. But before that, we decided to look around our hotel grounds.

Since it was summertime and our plan was to spend most of the time at the beach, I wanted to wear something cool and comfy. So for our second day, I wore a black and white striped crop top paired with blue colored high rise shorts which had triple stacked buttons in the front. And it was the perfect combination for a beach day.

The hotel where we were staying had outstanding outdoor spaces. It looked like a great place for celebrating weddings and other events. We walked around the beautiful rose garden and found this romantic gazebo overlooking the ocean. We immediately fell in love with this spot! We stood there for a while and took a moment to enjoy the pleasant views of the Pacific.

After that, we hopped into our car and went to the beach like we had planned. We sat there for a while, enjoyed watching the waves, the seagulls and people surfing. Then we walked along the beach and I found a cute little seashell which I brought with me 🙂

After the walk, we were starving. Luckily, there was a 1700 foot pier with restaurants, snack bars and shops. We went to a restaurant called Beach House Fish. We ordered some fish and chips along with drinks. We sat right in front of the window from where we could see the ocean while enjoying our lunch 😀

Then we started for LA. Our next plan was to visit Rodeo Drive. Stay tuned for my next post to read all about it!
