SUNDAY AT SHORELINE PARK

SUNDAY AT SHORELINE PARK

After a lot of rain, finally we are getting sunny days here in Santa Clara. We had been waiting to soak up the sun for a long time 🙂 Finally we got the chance this Sunday, so we didn't wanna miss it. Since the weather was warm, I wanted to wear something comfy. So I decided to wear a skater dress which I got from Forever 21. It was a stretch-woven skater dress which had a glen plaid pattern, a flounce scoop neckline and adjustable cami straps.

Our plan was to see the beautiful Shoreline Lake. But before that, we wanted to explore downtown Mountain View. The downtown was located on Castro Street between Evelyn Avenue and El Camino Real. There were so many different kinds of cafes, restaurants, small shops, bookstores, etc by the side of the street.

While walking around, I found a cute local boutique named Boutique 4. I was really surprised to see their dress collection which was displayed outside. I couldn't resist myself getting inside of that store. Their dress collection was so cool! I tried so many dresses there. I'm sharing some of them here.

By the time we came to the end of our shopping, we were starving. We wanted to have some asian food. So we went to a restaurant named Asian Box where the food was served alfresco. We ordered Vietnamese Hot Chicken Curry along with jasmine rice and potatoes. We also tried one of their drinks named Lemon Lime Marmalade which was yum! After that, we hopped into our car and went to Shoreline Park according to our plan. We spent our afternoon sitting near the lake which was so relaxing 🙂

There was a kite flying area where we flew our kite while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We also did a little hike on a small trail which runs by the bay.

We waited until the sun was set and it was worth it. We could see the most amazing sunset by the lake!
